This list of "noble truths" is originally from an old Chicago mag called 8 Track Mind and is currently quoted on an 8 Track fan site, but we found it via Bohemian Hellhole, so this quote has traveled a long way. BUT that doesn't make the ideas to ponder any less fresh and applicable to money management, design and life in general:
1) State of the art is in the eye of the beholder.
2) Society’s drive is on attaining rather than experiencing.
3) In less than optimum circumstances, creativity becomes all the more important.

Wonderful list of noble truths. Those ideas are timeless. 8 Track Heaven is one of my favorite sites. Very fun and informative...you'll learn more about 8-Tracks than you ever thought possible.

Love the saying quite a but but the funny thing is I think I nabbed that very image of that very 8-Track player off of Google to use for a 70's rock/pop/disco CD mix series I did a couple of years ago.
What I did was I cut it out, made it B&W and added it to a textured background in Photoshop with a groovy title and had it as a B&W template to color for each CD in the series and each had their own color and I did all but the titles, grill and the channel indicator, which I left B&W. :-)
