He has to get the "paperless" lifestyle into his head though. That desk is hideous.

No hanging chads this time. Gore wins messiest desk by a landslide!

3 monitors and a tv? really? I didn't know Al was producing music or editing film.

How many trees did Al kill with the papers on his desk?

mscot, stop questioning your betters. We all need to make serious lifestyle sacrifices and cut back on our consumption of energy and goods for the sake of the planet.

Al is exempt, of course, because he is a Very Important Man and thus needs three widescreen computer monitors (plus an office TV).

Look closely at his desk: it's not a huge pile of paper. There's some papers, but it appears to be mostly books, magazines, CD/DVDs, and random none-paper objects.

Also, there's a lot of other computer activities besides music and film that are made much easier by having multiple monitors...

Odd. I commented earlier on this mentioning something along the line that perhaps ol' Al should figure out how to get by with fewer than 600 watts of displays in his office. That comment seems to have been deleted. Are we not allowed to voice "dissenting" opinions here?
