Blanket Wrapping

10-16-07blanketwrapping.jpg

When we worked at an art gallery, we used to blanket wrap sculptures and furniture all the time. Blanket pads are inexpensive, reusable, and minimize packaging. Skimming through Metropolis, we noticed a blurb about companies using blanket wrapping to reduce wasteful packaging. Herman Miller is on board, reducing 50% of their packaging over the last 12 years.

We think it's a great way to ship both economically and responsibly. It also makes furniture a lot easier to unwrap when you receive it.
