Foresight offers a series of events relating to sustainability issues that intersect the interests of the general public, business, and/or design. This includes the popular "Green Drinks," a monthly gathering for those interested in discussing sustainability issues.
I've gone to their Green Drinks, other events and sometimes volunteer. I think their organization is great. They offer summer studios for students as well as internships during the year. I think the Green Drinks events are great for people who aren't exposed to "green" issues on a daily basis. Good for networking and learning.
