Check back on Monday - we'll be posting the answer and the photo info then. Speculation and discussion is always welcome in the comments, but for those of you who may know the photo source info...please don't tell! Thanks!
More Guess the Decade:
I think the appliances give it away most of all, here. I voted '80s.

looks like a kitchen you'd see in a tom hanks movie. circa 'the burbs'
i say 80s

yep - 80s here

I'm going to say 90s... The appliances look a little too slick to be 80s.

Is it just me or can other people guess correctly nearly every time based on the quality of the photo? I don't even need to pay much attention to what's in it, though that's fun to look at too...

Is something wrong with me? I'm kinda diggin' the 80's appliances for some reason... Nostalgia.

I said 80s - based on the coffee maker.

I thought 80s because of the coffee maker. Yet there is a modern ceiling fan from now, I think.

the ceiling fan and the coffee grinder said early 90's to me

It looks like late eighties/early nineties, so I wasn't sure which to pick.

Akino luna, I also just look at the quality of the photo. That gives it away.

I voted nineties. Just my first reaction.
I hope they're planning to update this kitchen soon.

i chose 80s but....
now i see the curved ceiling over the kitchen sink and the recessed lighting in the curve.. darn! 90s?

I say '70s, based on:
--the style of the coffeemaker
--the wallpaper on the staircase wall
--the wood face trim on the dishwasher
And it's hard to see, but I think that's a Chambers cooktop, and I believe Chambers went out of business in the '80s.

Two words: pickled cabinets. 80's

Akino-yes, the photo itself gives it away immediately, every single time. Pity, because it would be fun to actually guess based on the decor without that bias.

80s... based on the dishwasher, coffeemaker, and what looks like flourescent "recessed" lighting under the shelves... awesome! :)

I vote "now". Some kind of a country house...

Brunschwig & Fils faux-china wallpaper.
It all says 80's to me.

I would guess '90s.
*The dishwasher has controls facing the front, unlike newer dishwashers from the very late '90s that put them on the top.
*The prep sink is an overmount, can't tell with the main sink - too far away. Also the faucet and handspray look dated. A newer handspray would probably not be the standard black one that appears to be hear.
*The ovens look older, but not too old.
*Coffee maker looks circa '90s - especially with the now standard model grinder next to it. My impression of the '80s is that people weren't as into coffee as they were in the '90s.
*Undercabinet lighting - this didn't really become popular till the '90s.
*Decor - the wicker chairs, the overloaded pot rack, the tile countertop seem to point to the '80s, but the shaker style cabinet doors, and the curved ceiling seem to be a little more '90s to me.
I'd put in 1990-1993.

Could not decide between '80s or '90s. Finally went with '90s because of the cabinets.

The Mister Coffee and wicker chairs scream late 70's.

Tone on tone oatmeal aesthetic: pure 80's.

It says 80's to me too, but it could be early nineties. Plates were popular then (I had some in the kitchen myself) and pot racks.
But I want to ask: what do you mean you know by the quality of the photo?

Does anyone see that as a hot plate on the counter? Hot plate is a really 70s thing. I am impressed by everyone's pick up on details.

Gorgeous bones. These colors are similar to those in my late-80's bathroom: Light, almost pink, wood cabinets contrasting with charcoal black floors.

I don't think that's a hot plate, I think it's a corning ware cutting board which puts it '80s or after. The overall feel is '80s, but late '80s and with money so they were on the cutting edge (I got one for my wedding in '90 so they were pretty much everywhere by then).
