Armstrong Laminate Flooring

Lookslikerealthing_Armstrong_Laminate_lo-1.jpgIn my quest to create a great Lucille Ball costume last week, my research unearthed this ad from Armstrong Laminate: "Looks Like the Real Thing." We prefer the wood to stone looks; some of favorite fakes below:

My boyfriend has laminate wood flooring in his apartment... but um, it's only in the kitchen and the bathroom. Yeah, it looks a little weird. :P

I hate this advertising campaign, it makes me cringe whenever I see it in mags.

I love the Lucy photo, however it's done. The aqua-teal against the red hair is just beautiful.

We actually just purchased Armstrong flooring last month and are waiting for it to come in next week so a friend can install it in the kitchen and entry.

We found it at three places - a wholesale company I have access to through work, a small flooring company near us, and Lowe's (new product there). Believe it or not, it was cheapest at Lowe's for the same product - we had a sample from each place and they all looked identical. It had to be special ordered.

We got it in a cherry color - can't recall the exact name right now. Anyway, cheaper than hardwood, won't scratch from our mastiffs nails, and looks 100x better than any other wood laminate out there even up close. I believe the cost per sq ft here in IND was $4.14.

you can find it online at a reasonable price...I purchased a new home and upgraded through the builder. I know that Lowe's carries it as well. I have the L6530 N81 and it is beautiful.

Can anyone give price (and time!) approximations or what to expect for installation? We need to do something...but it's a (long term) rental...
thanx

Those ads are great, aren't they? The Lucille Ball one is outstanding.

I have laminate flooring throughout my house. It looks like the Montpelier Maple Warm photo above. I replaced carpeting in both bedrooms and I couldn't be happier. It's great stuff. Sure, real wood is the best, but this looks good and is very resistant to anything I've dropped on it. Plus it's fun to watch the cats skitter across the floor like cartoon characters when they chase each other!
