We've always liked McGuire's laid-back aesthetic, and their use of natural materials with high-end craftsmanship. Checking out some of their old catalog photos, we realized it's a look that goes back to their founding in the 1950s. Some of these rooms still seem fresh...
Wicker's a trend that's gone in and out of style over the years, but McGuire generally gets it right, combining clean-lined modern forms with age-old methods for weaving and forming wood by hand. We love the daybeds, bentwood dining chairs...and that bed in the 1972 photo kinda rocks our world.

Love the gothic bed! Everything else here looks dated to me.
