Best of Home and Housewares 2008: Dulton

2008-03-19-dulton.jpgColorful, shiny, retro - we were drawn to the Dulton booth because their goods were more like toys for grownups than housewares. At the show from Hong Kong...

...they are looking for representation and distribution in the US.

Take a peek at their super shiny metal goods - pretty fun stuff:

What they had at the show is just a tiny portion of their line - they also gave us a catalog filled with stylish, industrial inspired stuff...we hope to see their goods hitting retailers in the States soon.

The blue figurines are of the Dulton mascot...when you pull on the hat a measuring tape is inside.

I love those cabinets, not to mention the tooth stools.

Dust pans! I hate mine so much. Having one of those would significantly improve the frequency with which I sweep my floors.

The little blue men scare me, but I really like most everything else. "Friendly industrial." I like it.

Ooooooo, I hope they get picked up here! I would totally sweep more if I had that shiny broom and smiley dustpan.

I might be imagining things but I am pretty sure World Market carries those dust pans (not in all of the colors..I remember seeing silver and red). I saw them at the World Market in Oak Brook and Anthropologies definitely sells the kitchen timers.

I have the dustpan in seafoam green. It helps to have something smile at me when I do housework. Got mine at tjmaxx a while ago. I see them there every now and then.

I missed the housewares show and now I am sorry I did. I'm loving some of the pieces. Do you have contact info for the company? I'd love to carry some of their products at Willow.
