This year at the Home and Housewares show the "thinking green" message was still there, loud and clear. As we all know, one of the easiest things to do is to stop using plastic and paper bags from the store and get those groceries home in a bag you'll use again and again. Another simple step is reducing the use of "disposable" gift wrap and bags. Three big companies (two European and one US) were showing all sorts of patterns, shapes and sizes for their shoppers and wine bags (both for toting and gifting) - take a look...

    I ADORE the Reisenthel market basket (the one with the orange basket in the foreground)! It is so sturdy, carries a ton and the handle is super comfortable.
