Grant Achatz of Alinea: Home Life Q&A
Tribune Home & Garden 06.15.08

2008-06-17-ga.jpgThis week, the Tribune Home & Garden section featured Chef Grant Achatz of Chicago's amazing Alinea restaurant in their Snoop Patrol questionnaire. The recent James Beard award winner is living simply in his Lincoln Park digs, located close to...

...his restaurant.

He resides in a two bedroom, two bath townhouse and says, "If you consider a total lack of furniture a minimalist decorating style, then that would be me."

The artwork in his home? It is courtesy of his two young sons, done on a butcher paper covered wall.

We had to chuckle at this world renowned chefs answer to the question "Most luxurious feature in your home?"...which was: "Does a microwave count?" !!!

Click through to read the rest of the q&a by Nina Metz, revealing the home life of a very busy man.
