Chairman of the boards is all about Jeff Miller, a master wood worker and furniture builder. His studio is in Rogers Park, in what was once a post office turned bowling alley.
He has been building chairs for more than 30 years and his book on chair building, "Chairmaking & Design" (in print from 1997 - 2004) is considered the "best book on chair design ever published". It now fetches up to $200. per copy on Ebay and will come back into print this December.
