apartment therapy changing the world, one room at a time

Home and Garden Roundup: 1.14.07

2007-01-17-earth.jpgLiving the Green Life is the kickoff article in the just-announced year long H&G series in which the staff will live the green life, reporting on the ways in which they were able to realistically integrate more eco-concious lifestyle choices into their homelife.

We love this idea and can't wait to read more - upcoming installments will document the staffers experiences and will include interviews with green-living people across the country.

To start things off, they have compiled a list of things we can all do to conserve and the effect that it will have - one household at a time. It addresses the question of personal impact - does one person's efforts really count?

Also from H&G this week:

Will you please keep us updated as this green series continues? I'm not a Chicagoan and don't read the Trib daily, but I'd love to keep reading! Thanks.
