Pieces of Me is Elaine Matsushita's foray into the world of mosaic making.
Elaine attended classes at the Chicago Mosaic School to learn this artform and found a new appreciation for "learning pieces" in addition to masterpieces.
She took the 8 week long multilevel mosaics program ($275.). The school also offers open studio time (for students who have completed a class), which is a perfect opportunity for small space dwellers to do some serious craft work without having to live with the mess.
The next session begins in late March, more info can be found at chicagomosaicschool.com.
