"The garden with a house in its middle" focuses on the landscape design of the Cottage Living idea house in Evanston. Guillermo Castellanos of MITO did the work, a nearly grass-free low maintenance setting for the newly built Arts and Crafts-style cottage.
The idea home is open for public tours through September 3, details here.

I just got my mail this past weekend, too, for the Logan Square House & Garden Walk.
it's September 9th this year.
I went last year and it was very enjoyable, though I wish we could've seen the interiors of more homes (one ended up being sold the day before the walk for $1.3 mil... at about Kedzie & Belden)
