She reports that the curves, texture, pattern and color that have been moving to the forefront for the past few years got more glamorous as finishes went glossy and and shiny and pleats and folds were everywhere. That list of house walks seems heavily skewed to single-family homes in the 'burbs.

I think it would be cool if AT could sponsor a House Tour of its own, focusing on smaller (and cooler?) apts and condos in Chicago.....
