In the right context, I think this could be very fun. I have actually thought about purchasing one a few times, but I am concerned that it isn't very bright.

Sunspot: Ha! Those are the exact words that ran through my head when I first saw this product at a store 5 years ago! Of course, visions of a be-horned Anita Pallenberg sleeping in her chamber protected from the Mathmos was reason enough for me to purchase one these projectors... But, unfortunately, since I don't have many raves at home (and am not a Deadhead), the damn thing ended up in storage after about 6 weeks. Live and learn, Pretty-Pretty.

Glad I passed on 'em when I first saw one, also about 5 years ago. Don't need anything else cluttering up the garage. Also, noticed that they're not very bright, as mentioned above.
Might be great though if you are a hipster, hold a big Halloween party every year (in a dark room), or if you have the cash to buy several of them and the wall space to make use of such an array. One cool idea - shining them out of a window onto a large exterior wall, such as a garage.
And did you know that's not Anita Pallenberg's voice you hear in the film? It was dubbed by actress Joan Greenwood.

From "Mathmos" - I love it!
"Hello, Pretty Pretty . . ."
