Meh. I decorated my room in leopard print. In high school. In 1999.

It makes me want to sit in it, cradle a cocktail in my manicured hands, watch Sex and the City...and feel fabulous when I am not feeling so bad about being poor ;)

It's "not hot" because of the price, which is patently ridiculous. And the plastic legs.
I do like the jaguar print.

Cowhide gave way to zebra and now to leopard. I'm pretty sure jungle is next. Funny how these things cycle in and out. But I do like this. A Lot.

"Most jaguars are tan or orange with distinctive black spots, dubbed "rosettes" because they are shaped like roses. Some jaguars are so dark they appear to be spotless, though their markings can be seen on closer inspection."
"The color of the jaguar is a tawny-yellow with spots on the head, neck and legs and rosettes on other parts of its body. The rosettes will have one to four dark spots inside."
"The leopard is often confused with the jaguar, but the leopard is less stocky and does not have any spots inside its rosette markings, unlike the jaguar."

aaaallllright. So do you hate the price/ material/ comfortable level or
do you hate the design?
I know something like this, specially from D&G will be priced ridiculously above 75% of the world's population. But F*CK they make beautiful things and though it pains to see me going to the trashy dark side... I'm loving this. A LOT.
It's a phase. My roommate and I did our freshman dorm room in black with animal prints. We thought we were so cool for getting together before the term started and shopping together. Two years later I was in an apartment and the extra long sheets didn't fit so it was a good excuse to be done with that. But it was fun at the time.

Djlucky, a chair keeps my butt off the ground, and most chairs, big rocks and stumps will do that.
Beyond that, then it becomes a combination of factors. For me, the major ones are comfort and price.
This chair does not meet the latter qualification. And it doesn't look like it would meet the former one either.
And if I had to choose between a very ugly chair that was comfortable and a beautiful chair that caused me even more pain, I would always choose ugly.
I can't see the chair when I am sitting in it.
And I don't want a chair that I can only look at, because it's arty or expensive or just not comfortable. Like this cutlery chair is neat to look at, but not something I want to sit in: http://www.bookofjoe.com/2005/10/we_get_email_fr_1.html
I spend my childhood sitting uncomfortably on hard chairs in school, like most of us did. I see no reason to continue sitting on hard chairs if I do not have to.

That's not leopard, that's jaguar.
Jaguar:
http://www.wam.umd.edu/~lkopp/nature.html
"Most jaguars are tan or orange with distinctive black spots, dubbed "rosettes" because they are shaped like roses. Some jaguars are so dark they appear to be spotless, though their markings can be seen on closer inspection."
also:
http://library.thinkquest.org/11234/jaguar.html
"The color of the jaguar is a tawny-yellow with spots on the head, neck and legs and rosettes on other parts of its body. The rosettes will have one to four dark spots inside."
Leopard:

"The leopard is often confused with the jaguar, but the leopard is less stocky and does not have any spots inside its rosette markings, unlike the jaguar."

And if I wanted an overpriced plastic chair, I'd go for this:
