Ugh! In the second picture it looks like a drunken pink octopus. What a beautiful view though.

I voted hot, but really, I think that I merely like it more than I don't. I'm not sure that would have justified "hot".
But yes, I do like it.

Well it might not be so weird if it wasn't so massive! It's gigantic!! I agree, it would go great in a tim burton movie, or maybe someone with a more dark decorative taste but for the average pottery barn home it would look pretty silly. Neat idea... but maybe not very practical.

I love it! It's eccentric and elegant, and harsh and delicate at the same time. I get the sea creature vibe too, but I think that's a good thing.

For being someone who likes things in their pure state whenever possible, i find this chandelier absolutely amazing....which is a contradiction. I think the scale, the colors, the whole concept of lavish, autoindulgent unpracticality gives it a whole new sense of being in itself. It's definetely not for the faint-at-feng-shui-heart, and certainly not for the weak-pocketed, but i think it is a beautiful piece of fantasy some of us can only wish for.

Not sure about the second picture (pink octopus seems quite accurate), but in the first picture I was awe-struck. Especially when contrasted with the clean urban balcony setting... amazing. Not a piece to be used by the typical suburban decorator, but man, what a piece!

It's amusing, but I am easily amused.
It's "hot" because it looks freshly baked.
It's "not" because it looks freashly baked.
these are a little over the top but murano chandeliers are just so freakin gorgeous.

I think it's the kind of piece that might make a cool statement in a fantasy setting, like a theme (upper end) restaurant, but not in a normal person's home!

Would look cool in a lounge or some type of dark, twisted environment, but not in my personal space- They just would not go.

I just tied up the vote! I had to vote "Not" after seeing the purple one... but I think that the black one would look really neat in a large space. It's definitely for the more twisted side of us :)

I just have to say I´m over chandeliers.
I love love love old chandeliers, with that aged look. And that's it.
I was into the colored glass ones for a few days, but at this point - I am truly over the exotic variations.
That said - yeah, these do look pretty cool! Just too much for me though, when I voted the votes were 67 HOT, and 68 NOT - I broke the tie! At least for a moment;)
