Definitely hot. It's nice to have a piece of 19th Century Victorian Gothic to enjoy once in a while. This is a fun way to do it.

I voted hot because I love this. Would I buy it? I think it's pretty. Finally something that's not implausibly ridiculous. I appreciate the ability to vote for partial or other additionally to hot or not, also.

I voted Hot! but I think the wallpaper might be a bit overwhelming. A backdrop of it just behind the bed would be better to my mind.

I would like to see this wall paper replaced with the Foulard Black wall paper I just saw on Brocade Home's website. (The link is in an earlier post on AT.) The positive effect of black and white would be the same, but the motif has a little more poetry.

Actually, the blond wood floor is throwing me off. All that velvet upholstery and no rug looks strange.

I like it, but I would never buy it for myself in a million years.

I think tiny little hints of silver and maybe something like a sky blue would add extra interest.

I think if the pillows on the bed were a different color (possibly a cool shade) it would really really make the effect pop a lot more . . . That said, I think the wallpaper is actually what ties the entire thing together.

I think it goes with the Ikea tray table.

Two words: Silver floors!

I love this room, it's actually the look I am going for in my small rental currently.

I'll post my version soon!

i want to see a "greige" floor with this, not blonde wood. The bright studio lighting makes a it a bit harsh overall. Love the gold spread.

I like the bed but combined with everything else it's a bit too much.

I think it needs a hot pink duvet! That would make it fabulous!

Love the furniture, chandelier....but for me, the wallpaper is too bold for the serenity I seek in a bedroom...also, the chandelier is competing w/the paper, and it seems to fade away. I also think the floor is not a good match for this room. How about a zebra print rug. I would also use an accent color for the pillows ... palest blue w/silver maybe.

I love love love the bed frame and the night stands. I don't like the lamps though, and the wallpaper is obnoxious. It almost looks like it is competing with that beautiful furniture.

The wallpaper competes with the bed which competes with the chandelier which competes with the bedside table which competes with the lights.

Holy jiminies, just tone it down already! Even a plain wall, red perhaps, and a nice rug could make this much more bearable, but in combination, no no noooooo.

The wallpaper the furniture= way too 'matchy-matchy' and predictable for me. I'd love to see color brought in to make the pairing more unexpected.

Oops---there should have been a 'plus' sign b/w 'the wallpaper' and 'the furniture' in my comment above!

This is what I imagine the budoirs in the plans for the Haunted Mansion in Disneyland must have looked like.

I love it, but it needs some dark RED accents (or fuschia for a younger look) to really make it pop- I can't hang with a strictly neutral palette.
