Carefully crafted and edited over time, our home tells our story like no other: Southern girl and Midwest boy meet as citified singletons, morph into married folk and become suburban parents. We moved to Cleveland from San Francisco. Next to a slower pace and more affordable cost of living, the biggest adjustment has been the winter skies. True to our coastal sensibilities, I chose subtle hues for the walls to keep a sense of spaciousness and lightness. To brighten and personalize our space, I’ve used mini injections of color via furniture, accessories, photography and art (especially pieces created by our son, now three).

In terms of sprucing, I style with instinct over instruction, favor clean lines and simple presentation. I combine high with low; old with new; global with local. I like to elevate the ordinary.
