We got an email from Pam just before the holidays:
I have tons of art in my home (1119 square foot condo), which I use as a rotating gallery, since I paint myself. My idea is to keep the furnishings and wall colors of my apartment fairly simple in line and small in scale, so I can let the art really pop...

I paint on canvas, but I also have many paintings done on extra-thick chunky wood supports that stand out about four inches from the wall. A lot of my work is mixed-media sculpture that incorporates styrofoam, plaster and wire. My paintings and artwork can be seen here (www.pamreynolds.com).

My wall sculptures all have biomorphic forms which are a bit reminiscent of food, so I decided to hang them in the kitchen --- the most appropriate place!

Pam, thanks so much for the glimpse into your home and at your work. Anyone else out there use their own home as a rotating gallery of artwork (either their own or others' work)? We know David and Jennifer of WOM space do...
Love the drop down lighting on the right side of the kitchen. Where is that from?
And the concept of clean lined surroundings with good art is great! Still, would want a more comfortable couch though!
