Sara & Fawad's Eclectic Mix
House Call

Name: Sara & Fawad
Location: Toronto, Ontario

Sara and Fawad live in the Distillery District in downtown Toronto. When she sent us these photos of their home she convinced us that it is a true collaborative space. She writes: I like antiques and he likes vintage. I like paintings and he likes books....

We both love to travel and this where we cohesively come together. Our home is a mix of all things that define us. We find inspiration in the cities we travel, the city we live in, our lively, unique neighbourhood and the people we meet every day. We layer and grow each day in our home and it grows with us. This is who we are and this is how we live.

Thanks, Sara!

We've had amazing response to our Apartment Therapy House Tour Submission Form. While we will work with homeowners of our favorite homes to feature full tours, we will also share the best as House Calls — short, quick tours of readers' homes. Submit your home here.

Your style comes off more modern eclectic, I would have never guessed you liked antiques and vintage furniture by looking at the pics of your place. Maybe the chair you have hiding underneath your purse.

Very nice though.

This is a cute space, but where's the vintage furniture and the all the books?

IKEA fabric keeps getting better every year. I bought some three years ago. I thought that was exciting, but those three samples over Sara and Fawad's bed are even more yummy.

where are those aspects of your aesthetics present in this place? it's cute and modernistic but I don't see what you described your style to be.
