the hearts and cookies are cute. But what do you do with them?

The hearts are so cute indeed! They would be cute mounted on a canvas, as 3d art. Or in a bowl. Or hanging from a ficus. :-) I'm guilty of sticking weird things in my ficus - there is a cheap-looking green dollar-store bird in there now.

felt is even better imo when you do it yourself by either knitting with wool and felting or felting up woolen sweaters. i've done both, the first for a pair of slippers, the second with thriftstore sweaters than i cut and made mittens with (i think Martha has done that as well). you use the ribbing at the waist or sleeves for the wrist of the mitten, cut a bit larger than the intended hand, blanket stitch around and bingo! felted wool is soso warm and water-resistant.

So you can turn wool sweaters into felt. Interesting. I love felt, but I don't think I would be able to do any of these projects competently. Seriously, I'm so bad at this stuff. I'm envious of all you crafty people.

I stick weird stuff in my ficus too!

I had people over for dinner the other day and had to pull my wine glass markers out of my tree. . . .
