How About Orange is full of easy, good-looking projects. (Jessica is so creative!) We love this Vintage Fabric Wall Art made from fabric scraps and paper. Click here for the how-to.

One idea from Martha Stewart: make lavender sachets with leftover squares. It's a simple project, and you can use the sachets to keep linens smelling fresh. They also make a great gift. Click here for how-to instructions.

If you have a lot of assorted leftovers, you can make napkins out of colored fabrics. We love this project from the Purl Bee because it ties together a hodge podge of colors with the same binding trim. If you have less fabric, use the same concept to make coasters instead of napkins. For the step-by-step instructions, click here.

Lisa Congdon made this patchwork pillow for ReadyMade. It's a little more complicated than the other projects listed above, but the results are really stunning. Click here for the step-by-step.

What are those things called in the first photo? Those round things, are they called embroidery rings? I LOVE that idea, that and framing fabric. I have loads of extra fabric lying around, this is so cool! Thanks so much!

Embroidery hoops actually. Two hoops that separate. You lay a scrap of fabric over the smaller hoop, then squish the larger one over it, clamping the fabric between the two. Then you tighten the little bolt at the top to keep it all in place

You can always find embroidery hoops at a thrift store inexpensively.

I love the embroidery hoop idea! I have been trying to think of a creative way to display pretty fabric on a wall.

Such cute ideas! I recently bought a blank latch hook canvas to make a latch hook rug out of fabric scraps. I like this idea because you only need scraps that are an inch wide and a few inches long.

I simply fold my fabric neatly/uniformly and stack it with table linens in a visible place in my living room. I can't tell you how many people remark "how pretty" when they notice it. I suppose my colorful stack looks like a very ample stack of table linens, but actually most of the stack is comprised of material that is left over from a project. My decor is neat-eclectic; the random nature of varying patterns and colors blends beautifully with the very non-matching theme of the room.
