A Glamorous 408 Square Foot Home in Missouri
Metropolitan Home

The fact that her home is tiny did not deter Anu Suebsawangkul from creating a home that is both well designed and gloriously glamorous. The white and navy color scheme works really well for making a small space feel and look incredibly posh...

...while getting it crowned "Swankiest Small Space" by Metropolitan Home.

The icing on the cake is that Anu did it on a budget. Check out some of her wallet friendly resources:
Starburst Mirror - Target
Zebra Rug - Walmart
Chandelier - Urban Outfitters
Bedding - Bed, Bath & Beyond
Side Tables - Ikea

Also, she also wasn't afraid to DIY - the chain patterned "wallpaper" (photo 3, above) was hand painted by Anu!

Read all about the winning space (and see the rest of the photos) right here at Met Home and check the full resource list right here for all the details.

Wow, it's lovely. But all the people I know who moved to Missouri from Boston did it so that they could live in 4000 sq ft homes, so I'm really impressed that she's doing this in 400!

It's like a little hotel suite--elegant and streamlined.

I'd be interested to find out how she DIY'd that chandelier over the existing light/fan combo?

Did you see what they gave her for a prize, though??

"Prize: Toto Clayton Tub (valued at $1,820)."

...a big bathtub! Ha, awww, sad. It's the thought that counts. : )

Yes, I really want to know how she DIYd that ceiling fan into a chandelier! I looked on urbanoutfitters.com, and seems like that particular chandelier isn't available anymore.
