A Midwest Modern Holiday: Amy Butler's Decorations

We already knew that Amy Butler has a great sense of style, and now, thanks to Home Companion mag, we got a glimpse of how Amy does the holidays. We are not at all surprised to see that her decor looks great...and she provides free patterns so you can do the projects, too. Jump below for more info and links:

Amy's fabric designs and crafty patterns are an ongoing inspiration - we like the mix of her version of Martha-style idealized homemaking and the funky feel of her vintage-filled home and fresh modern color schemes...plus Amy is a bit of a Midwest design hero - she resides in Granville, Ohio.

I agree--the colors are great, but there's just too much. I'm assuming that this is for the camera, and that she doesn't really live like this. There's no place to put down a glass or mug of egg nog on those tables.

But boy, does Home Companion have a writing style guaranteed to give you tooth decay.

I love Amy Butler fabrics. Does any one know where those rugs are from. The blue one in the family room and the green one in the dining room.
