Adding a Little Moroccan Style to Any Room

Aaron did a post yesterday about the popularity of Moroccan rugs in the March issue of Elle Decor. It got us thinking that in addition to the rugs, there are several other quintessential decor items that can add a little Moroccan style to any room...

...that they are added to - we pulled a few examples from one of our favorite online inspiration spots - the store from the Netherlands called Le Souk.

1. White Leather Pouffe with Silk Embroidery
2. Tray Folding Stand and Aluminum Tray
3. Copper Teapot
4. Hand Carved Stool
5. Floor Cushions

I really adore those little poufs. I think I need a couple of those in really bright colors.

OH! I was wondering why the ikea trollsta table was so weird looking. It folds up like that tray table.

I've been trying to incorporate a Mauritanian/Moroccan theme for my living room for the past coupleof months. So far I've taken the inspiration from the Mauritanian pillows I have and worked around those. My next goal is finding the perfect tray so we can have the occasional tea ceremony and I must say that tray looks tempting.

I have one of those little tea pots. I love it to death. :) But I have a thing about te pots. I also have a pretty hand painted hand made glazed clay teapot my bf brought back from his host family in Japan. :) Really cute!
