Amber's Home for the Holidays

Strings of lights and ornaments look fab in a Tord Boontje hurricane.

Amber's blog, My Aim is True, is one of our favorites. She's into design, cooking, running, knitting and Project Runway...what's not to love? Upon clicking over this morning we saw that she posted photos of her home sweet home all decked out for the holidays, glamorous white tree and all.

Amber made a few of these "yarnaments".
She says, "finally a use for novelty yarn" - hee!

LOVE the white tree!

Amber's holiday decorations are stylish and so inspiring - we are just getting started and now we can't wait to swing into full gear - for more inspiration, Amber pointed us to a flickr group started by Design Public, the Holiday Home Inspiration Pool.

We'd love to see some more of our readers holiday decor - take a few pictures and send them in or tag them on flickr with "aparmenttherapychicago"...

Thanks, Amber!

Amber is using a small home for big ideas. There's nothing like owning your own pad to inspire you to let go... any... way... you... want! Very cool.
