We stumbled across a review of Anne Hubert's book Customiser the other day, which led us to her online collections. The philosophy behind her work: customize the things you find in your closet to create one-of-a-kind pieces. Her style reminds us a lot of Molly Ringwald in Pretty in Pink (think demure polka dots with hot pink stencils).
