Stockholm has some really amazing real estate websites. While we're lucky to find tiny photos of a home's exterior on some of our American realtors' sites, companies like Innerspec and Alvhem give complete tours of beautifully styled homes. Alvhem even has an online gallery stocked with inspiring apartments for viewers to browse...

One of the best parts of browsing a real estate site is seeing the various ways in which spaces are laid out. The "bones" of these apartments are very similar: a large room with two or three windows on one wall, hardwood floors, white walls, and a pendant lamp. Within that formula, Alvhem offers several different arrangements for bedrooms, living rooms, and dining areas. For more ideas and inspiration from their gallery, click here.

I never thought that I would say this, but I'm feeling scandi-overload lately. Too much white and blond wood in these rooms. They all seem overly staged and do not exhibit any sort of diversity or originality in their furnishing and decorations. Maybe it's just a Thursday thing, but these apartments actually made me grumpy. Strange.

total agreement.
I realize it's unreasonable and that the shots are staged for sale, but I am scowling at them. Maybe it's the lack of dog hair/painting supplies/books...

I have to agree with previous comments. I´m a Swede, and I'm so tired of this style. It's just boring to see it in every magazine and blog here in Sweden.
