We're mixing it up. In between blogging, we've been doing the Fall Cure and trying to get our bedroom together. As much as we'd love to have a room full of modernist furniture, our collection is really a mishmash of contemporary pieces we've slowly acquired and hand-me-downs from family. Based on what we already have, we're planning an upgrade that combines our 70s mod aesthetic with our second-hand shabby chic pieces.
Things We Have:
• Vintage dresser, similar to Rosalee Dresser, $750 at Shabby Chic
• Gubi Chair, scored through AT Classifieds
• Milky Way Lamp from Bright Lights Little City, $75
• Curtains similar to Nate Berkus Linen Window Curtains, $49.99 at Linens n' Things
Things We're Considering:
• Chocolate Froth paint by Behr
• Reversible Voile Quilt, $99 - $149 at The Company Store
• Octagon Pattern Wood Mirror, $199 at West Elm
• Hedda Cushion, $6.99 at IKEA
• Osaka Boxes, $4.95 - $19.95 at CB2
• Pure Beach Jersey Sheet Set, on sale for $9.99 - $29.99 at Bed Bath & Beyond
I'll give a here, here for Chocolate Froth. We used it in our living room, and it's really soothing yet has a bit of life to it too. You've picked out some great stuff to go with, and I especially love the Gubi chair. Way to go!

OOo, chocolate froth! Hmmm, might have to add that into the paint color consideration now.
What an awesome Craigslist find by the way!
