Love this. Green is the best spring color :)

My favorite color! I love the many moods of Green.

i'm not a fan of green, but the basement of my house has a large finished space that features spring-green paint over that *lovely* old paneling that everyone seemed to have in their basements in the 60s. i've decided to leave it and found really inexpensive sheer olive green curtaining with big flocked dots to make the curtains for either end of the room (it's long - i call it the bowling alley).

the sleeper sofa i want to get is a darker shade of olive. i may as well play it up.

I like green so much but it's difficult to find the 'right' green--things can go from fresh to queasy so quickly.

I love those sheer chartreuse curtains in the first pic. It looks so fresh with the darker greens and the brown!
Green makes places feel so alive. My apartment has pretty beige major pieces, but a lot of natural wood and a mix of teal and leafy green everywhere from the rugs to the wash cloths. Red or a bright orange makes a really good accent color without being Christmassy!

Mixing greens isn't easy - that's the one color that can clash with itself.

You either have to stick with greens with a yellow undertone or greens with a blue undertone...
...otherwise, your room ends up like the guy at the office wearing olive green pants and a blue-green shirt - looking awful.

Ha ha! I have that same fondue pot, it's NEVER been used, at all, ever never.

I painted by sunroom/breakfast room (usual Chicago unheated enclosed back porch - a sort of three season room or sun porch kind of space) ceiling a bright, grass green with white walls on the brick and beadboard to -sort of- match the greenish fleck vinyl floor and to reflect green into the kitchen in winter when there is no greenery in the garden.

Green is a wonderful color! Although not thought of as a neutral, the right color green can coordinate with any color. Green is everywhere in nature and looks beautiful...Mother Earth knows best!
