We love Dior Gray, and we love it even more with these pink orchids from Benjamin Moore's 2009 Color Forecast. Pale rose and metallic gray were popular during the 80s, and the color combo has been updated for the current decade with deeper pink and more subtle neutrals. In case you're a fan, we've rounded up a few inspirational photos to bookmark for your files...

The bathroom with the marble vanity is from a house featured a few years ago in Domino. Last summer I painted my office Benjamin Moore's Charming Pink, the suggested similar color -- not an exact match but close, since the original was custom blended.
It's a bright, cheery yet mellowing color. Even my husband likes it. I've touted pink to many skeptics who still think of it as a "girl" color. Wrong, since it's all in the accessories.

Love that mirror against the soft pink in the bathroom. Very stunning! I had pink in my living room in the 80's... the color was called "shrimp shell pink". I loved it so much that I'll never forget the name!

How timely. Just as I'm trying to finish up my small bath for a deadline!
My main materials are gray in color--carrera marble shower walls, white and gray hex marble shower floor and charcoal honed granite floor tiles. Fixtures are chrome and vanity is bamboo.
On the one hand, I like the monochrome gray look. But i keep leaning towards a vibrant color like green or even pink! Is the particular pink above identified?
Here is my guest bath scheme currently:
