Color Tip: Take A Weekend Drive!

103108-trees.jpg Autumn is in full swing here in Kansas City and throughout the rest of the Midwest. Growing up, taking a weekend drive each Sunday was tradition, but with high gas prices, it's become a thing of the past. However, since the price of gas is at a 4 year low, (it's $1.85 here in Independence, Mo!) a day out and about among the colors of the changing leaves might be just what the doctor ordered....

Colors found in the changing of leaves can inspire you to change up a room or your whole house. Did you know that you can take in a beautiful leaf to your local hardware store and they can color match it directly?
Often times we don't think about color matching to anything other than fabric, but leaves will work just fine.

So if your weekend plans allow for it, hop in the car and get out into nature (before gas goes back up after the election!), see the sights and enjoy being out in a world that is full of amazing color!

Happy Halloween!

Or you could take a walk for free, and slowly soak up the striking warm tones!
