We love a good reading nook. It's one of the most personal parts of a home, and the way it's styled says a lot about the owner. Maybe they're a creative person, with books stacked in corner piles, or maybe they're a neatnik with a perfectly alphabetized collection. The homeowners whose rooms are pictured above obviously love color and use it strategically by incorporating books into bright, welcoming corners...

I love the stair case might steal the idea for the stairwell. I don't need a nook to read in, just a book anywhere.

I wanted a reading nook in the worst way (until I get a full blown library!)

Are those STAIRS? My god, that is brilliant! I want it. I've already got enough books to fill it.

I really love how this post has examples of book storage that are actually meant to hold lots of books. I've been getting frustrated with magazines/blogs/etc. that illustrate how easy it is to "store" small numbers of decorative books by stacking them on a little decorative shelf or table. Real book storage for real book owners! You rock!
