I have a bunch of vintage crocheted doilies, which are probably about as cheap as paper doilies these days (since they're so out of style). I starch them till their stiff and hang them on my windows as "snowflakes."

THEY'RE, not "their." Ugh. Not so good with the typing today.

I heart these garlands (and I heart typos)!

The grey ones are so pretty!

I have been trying to think of ways I might use several large doilies that I own. I had thought about attaching them in some way to make a tablecloth, but those beautiful grey ones give me the idea for another type of tablecloth altogether. I don't care what people say. I know the love and time my mother and grandmother put into these items. Long live the doily!

I LOVE these neutral colored ones! This is a really fun
idea!

I made 100 yards of doily garlands (like photo 3) for my wedding this summer. We are using them for holidays, birthdays, and all sorts of other things. They are lovely and soooo easy to make.

Lisa, they're currently selling vintage-looking doilies at Urban Outfitters. They are in style.
