Furniture From Scaffolding
Inspiration

Benches, chairs, beds, tables, decking and more has all been made out of ordinary construction grade scaffolding. It's not a set of materials most would chose to work with, but the looks, especially in this setting are quite stunning. Details after the jump...

This summer in Amsterdam, a vacant construction site was home to a conference venue. We love the look and even more the idea of working with pipe and salvaged wood to make some of the basics for our home.

It won't work for many styles of decor, but for lofts and industrial spaces, it would fit right in!

Check out Dezeen for more photos of the event and furniture that was made!

I like the first and last pictures best. I'm thinking a backyard daybed thing ...add some white cusions and fabric for a canopy....or a trellis for a plant canopy.

Also what an ideal building material to make a custom backyard play house / jungle gym. : )
