This week, our "guess who" shows off the living room of a very famous writer. We think the style suits the personality of the author quite well and there is a clue or two to tip you off. Take a close look, make your guess and then jump below to see if you are correct...

It's Truman Capote's room from his home in the Hamptons. According to Architectural Digest, "In a brightly painted and comfortably arranged setting in the living room, the author wrote at this round wicker table. A pack of loose yellow unruled Sphinx paper, some notebooks, a photograph of Capote and his glasses share the space with an open copy of In Cold Blood. "
Did you get it right?

JANEL!
This is one of my all time favorite spaces. I think about this floor, and the exposed walls in the main spaces used as shelving probably daily. Did you pull this from the "Celebrity Homes" book or did you get your hands on the actual issue? I borrowed a copy of the sequel recently (not as good) and was going to post some things from it this week.

Is it just me or does Capote's living room also look like one of those doll house rooms from the following post?

Keehnan-
Funny timing!
Nope, I don't have the book or the original issue - I ran across the photo on the A.D. site and thought it was a fun room. Looking forward to your post...

OMG...Capote was the first thing that popped into my head when I saw the picture. Maybe it was the glasses on the table that gave it away.
