Heirlooms of the Future?

She has such amazing taste. I'm glad to see her space while shelter magazines are still afloat. (I will literally cry if Elle Decor folds.)

i love her rug designs. i wish i could say has much for all the stuff in her loft. i was disappointed to see her personal interior space. it didn't measure up to her designs. oh well.
and about elle decor, B O R I N G. same old designers all the time. there's an arrogance to that magazine that i just cannot see surviving this economic climate.

I really love this loft. It's a bit pattern-heavy for my taste, but really lovely.
And count me as another vote in favor of Elle Decor! I, too, would be heartbroken if they folded.

B B -- I totally disagree with you about Elle Decor. It's the only American shelter magazine I can think of that doesn't have a "house style" for every home they show. You know what you're getting with Domino (accent wall, zebra rug, mirrored/lucite furniture), House Beautiful (Parish Hadley beige), Dwell (poured concrete and industrial materials), Martha Stewart, etc. Elle Decor is the only one that still surprises me every issue.

This place looks like a junkyard. There is so much pattern and too many details - it confuses the eye.I agree with BB about Elle Decor-did not renew my subscription.

Wow, she has a lot of stuff. She could stand to participate in the Spring Cure '09.

I saw so much beige, I thought it might be an update of Nate Berkus's previous beige space.
