Checking out Swedish paint seller Alcro for some color ideas, we came across these big, bold walls that made us do a double-take. Whether or not we'd replicate something like this in our own home, we have to admit that all of these rooms are gutsy. Click below for more...

Using lemon yellow is a brave move on its own, but using it in a geometric, asymmetrical pattern like this takes it over the edge.

For a less expensive, more conceptual take on an area rug, try a square of color on a painted floor. The high-gloss finish heightens the contrast between the brown and the surrounding white.

We've seen brick painted out white many times, but fuschia...not so much. For more ideas, check out Alcro's inspiration gallery.
the plants or trees look great---one of the best i have seen.

The details of these pictures are interesting too. What's that along the baseboard in the kitchen? How are the feathery circles around the dining room hung? It looks like the gray and purple striped panel in the top picture is a sliding door - it looks odd with the brown and white wall.
