Sometimes the best way to decorate is to work within strict limits, especially if you're starting with a gorgeous space that doesn't need a lot of bells and whistles. The Hotel Sigtuna in Sweden is one of those places - simple, spare, and beautifully restrained. Decorated by architecture and design firm Lindvall, the furnishings and custom-made fittings were chosen for their connection to the "golden age of Scandinavian design."

I love the lamp in the first picture, anyone know what that is or where it can be obtained?

Oh, that's by a Bauhaus designer, can't remember it off hand. Not a Swedish design. Interestingly, since the rest look very, VERY Swedish.

You can buy that Bauhaus lamp at the MoMA store for a cool $925. I've coveted it forever.
