Largest Outdoor Living Room: City Lounge
...to climbable "cars" for the kids, it's a surreal, yet friendly, project. The "stadtlounge" (city lounge) was the result of a competition and the winning design by Carlos Martinez and Pipilotti Rist was unveiled in 2005. We love the overhead shot of the city center with the red carpet slinking up to the edges of the facades - there is something very funny about seeing those trees "sprouting" up from the LEAST natural looking of any ground cover ever...
