i thought that looked familiar. there's a house tour from earlier this month on at:sf.

I adore the look, and for me, it's grounded in tiles and natural wood----with all that light spilling into the space. Bright, fun, irreverent colors....controlled clutter....and a sense of humor that obviously permeates the space.

Can anyone tell what the tabletop is made of? I love that look - is it tile, or what?

the tabletop is hand-tiled, with red-orange tiles speckled with a little yellow and black...i found it at a local used furniture store here in SF, called "the apartment".
