Make a Great, Red Room

121907redstuff.jpgInspired by yesterday's ColorTherapy post on Christmas Red #2, we thought long and hard about the fact that a) we love a range of reds, including that post's most vibrant one and b) we don't know if we could live with walls like that. So, we pulled a few pieces from across the web that would add a fantastic, heart-melting punch to any room. Here are a few possibilities to make that great, red room (from subtle to WOW), without painting:

I completely endorse the idea of creating one's red room without painting the walls red. I moved into a house with a red room and it was like being in a can of tomato soup all the time. Painting over it was a real job with two coats of primer and two coats of paint. For the sake of the next owners...just say NO to red walls.
