Plywood Walls at Hotel Holos

Located in Sevilla, Spain and designed by MGM Arquitectos, Hotel Holos exhibits a very modern interpretation of wood-paneled walls. We especially like the way this looks in the bedrooms, where plywood serves as both headboard and accent wall...

Although plywood paneling can sometimes make a space look unfinished, the crisp and contained use of the material seems well thought out in this space. By using plywood to cover deep window insets, hallways, and accent walls, the designers drew attention to the hotel's clean-lined architectural details.

If you're considering a similar look for an accent wall at home, we suggest reading this article from TLC. It gives a good overview of how to approach a DIY plywood wall.

Those deep window ledges are beautiful. But are those walls really that thick? Is this a castle remodel or something? I agree with Lab about those stairs, although they would look good in terrazzo.
