We can't remember how we originally found the house online, but we've had it bookmarked for months now, returning to it whenever we want to take a little virtual vacation.

The village surrounding the rectory is home to about 2,000 people, and the house is located at the end of an ancient road that ascends a hill above the village.

The house has obviously been outfitted with modern appliances and electricity. The neutral furnishings and mix of traditional styles compliment the weathered, storied character of the home.

The adjoining Romanesque Chapelle Sainte-Luce is a local historic landmark, and the property overlooks Luberon National Park.

It looks like the rectory may be currently used as a bed and breakfast, though it's difficult to tell from the information provided on the site. For more information and photos, visit Le Presbetyre Sainte Luce.
My gosh, this is gorgeous. This officially counts as internet porn.

These pictures didn't wow me--there are some better ones at the link. I am sure it's the kind of place that is just breathtaking in person.

This is painful to see. I SO WANNA BE THERE AND CAN'T. Ugh. Beautiful house, Southern France is such an amazing place, so much history and so much good wine.
Ok ok, I just watched A Good Year with Russell Crowe, and I'm all about Southern France right now.

Beautiful. It reminds me of the few months I spent living in southern France.
