White kitchens are lovely, but it doesn't hurt to bring in a little color with accessories. If you have glass or open shelving, dishes are a great way to color-coordinate your kitchen. You can also bring color into your space with fabrics like tea towels and tablecloths, or hang colorful accessories (like enameled colanders) on the wall with hooks.

I have both sizes of the red colanders and love them. They are a great accent color in my black and silver kitchen.
