The Movable Home Office

Offi Overlap Tray, $99 - $139 at Design Public

The home office is changing. We recently got a wireless connection in our home (I know, a few years behind the curve). Since we went wireless, we've been writing on the couch or in a chair...wherever the mood strikes us. Our "moveable office" has freed us from prior space constraints, so much that one of our goals for the Fall Cure has been to pare down our home office into just a few file cabinets and a shelf, repurposing our old work space into a guest room.

Keeping a movable office also forces us to get rid of old files and keep our papers organized.

That overlap desk is very cute, but I don't see myself putting an open glass/mug of anything on it like that woman has. Me light colored rug open cup/mug/stein of any liquid = big mess!

Oops...I meant to say Me PLUS light colored rug PLUS open cup/mug/stein of any liquid = big mess!

It seems that the server did not like my plus signs!

I have used this desk for over a year, and I've never spilled. It's a great little number. I will use it as a TV table sometimes too, and my toddler likes to sit on it as well as AT it. (So you know it's durable.)
