Wilco is closely linked with Chicago in many peoples minds - in addition to being famous long time residents, they featured the iconic Bertrand Goldberg towers on the cover of Yankee Hotel Foxtrot. Photos of their "low profile" rehearsal space...

 
 

...are featured in the Fall Issue of LoftLife. Bunkbeds, bookshelves, pianos, iMacs, big red oriental carpets and guitars, guitars and more guitars make up the main look of the utilitarian but funky space.

The piece in Loft Life includes a interview with Jeff Tweedy and tour manager Jason Tobias, who "handles" the Wilco loft. He says, "Not a lot of people know where it is exactly. The neighborhood allows the Loft to keep a low profile, which is essentially the desired effect. A few die-hard fans know and have been pretty cool with keeping it the secret it is intended to be."
