The Keller Vase, available at Crate & Barrel, is made from hand-forged iron which is buffed to a high silver sheen. The large vessel (15.75" diameter; 16.25" height) is made for dry materials only and costs $79.95.
Too bad it's only for dried stuff, I think fresh flowers would look nice with the finish. $80 is too much for such limitations.

You may be able to seal the interior (and lip) by pouring sealant into it, capping the opening, and shaking/swirling vigorously.
Then do it again.
And maybe a third time. Then paint the lip area (anything that may have been protected by whatever you capped the opening with).
No promises, but I think it'd work.
